After a career as the director and owner of an international English language school Canada, Sharen has continued her passion in a new direction. Since the implementation of gender apartheid in Afghanistan, Sharen has turned her focus to collaborating with like-minded Canadians to create innovative pathways for Afghan women to find security and renewed dignity through education in Canada. She is optimistic that with each Afghan woman who successfully comes to study in Canada, they in turn will be the future leaders inspiring lasting change for the years to come.
