Gabrielle has long been passionate about immigration law, recognizing it as her true vocation. Eager to delve into the complexities of migratory trends and their repercussions, she distinguished herself academically, securing degrees in Civil Law and in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa with honors. Moved by the harrowing events following the fall of Kabul in the summer of 2021, and disturbed by the sight of women being stripped of their rights, she was compelled to take action. This led to the Resilient Futures initiative, a testament to FTR’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by geopolitical upheavals.
